mw3 vs. bf3

So I've been thinking about these two games, and since I knew more about the COD series than Battlefield I took a look at what it looked like on You tube and Gamespot.com. Here is my conclusions on both games:
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
This game could be the epic conclusion to the series as a whole. Glen Schofield said that it was the "biggest, exciting, and epic Call of Duty ever". I have to agree on that after watching a gameplay of it by Infinity Ward Creative Strategist Robert Bowling. He played as Delta Force Sgt. Derek "Frost" Westbrook in the mission "Hunter Killer" and I have to say I'm glad I pre-ordered it. My only curiosity is where Captain Price and Soap Mactavish come in, most likely towards the end of the game.
The style of how the game is displayed is the same, but I definitely see an enhancement in weapon technology. The guns have new attachments added to them as well. What I can't exactly see at the moment is the weapon check, ammo amount, and other weaponry like C4s or Claymores on the screen like before in previous COD games. I hope the story line is more interesting than Black Ops; don't get me wrong the way they switch from one memory to another and different characters were cool, but the flashing and pictures coming and going in a blink of an eye made my head hurt trying to comprehend what I've just seen and made it a little hard for me to understand the story until I actually played the game. Xbox Live ought to be cool, with maps as complex and difficult as in Black Ops, but we'll just have to see...
Battlefield 3
I have always been a fan of COD, but Battlefield 3 looks quite impressive. It has an interesting story line and a stunning picture. It has that cinematic adventure feel in the movies, with technology almost like L.A Noire. Weapons peaked my interest too as well as descriptions of the mission and the character you are currently playing. I don't have much to say for Battlefield, but I guaruntee that I will be playing it, even if I don't understand the full story behind it.
Overall I'm pretty psyched about both games and I know the imaging, story line, and the expierence all together will make a stunning performance on my Xbox 360 :)
Here are the videos that I watched if you wish to look at them:

ORIGINAL STORY

Anonymous sources have been speaking to Kotaku as of late about Modern Warfare 3 details, and the latest batch of potential leaks involves the game's multiplayer. Here's what the source reports:

Multiplayer is divided between Spec Ops missions and standard multiplayer
No zombie modes will be included
Spec Ops features both the standard mission-based maps as well as a "horde-like mode."
Standard multiplayer will feature 20 maps
Team perks will be introduced, including Stopping Power, Blast Shield, Health Regen, and Stun Protection

New individual perks include:

Blind Eye - Immune to killstreaks. Pro version speeds up lock-on and gives you extra bullet damage to vehicles.
Assassin - Immune to UAV, thermal, and heartbeat sensors.
Point Guard - Every two assists count as a point towards your killstreak.
Dead Silence - Your character makes no noise.
Recon - details unknown.
New killstreaks include:

EMP Grenade - takes out all electronics in an area
Littlebird - A remote-controlled miniature helicopter
Precision Airstrike - Calls in an airstrike on a specific area
Stealth Bomber - A B2 Spirit swoops in and carpet bombs in a line
Remote Turret - A turret that can be controlled remotely by the player
Directional UAV - A UAV that can scan designated areas
Remote Mortar - Direct a mortar team via a top-down camera
Airdrop Trap - A booby-trapped airdrop
Ammo Resupply - Airdrop that supplies ammunition
Escort Airdrop - Protected airdrop
Specialist Strike Package - Unknown
It sounds like the Tactical Nuke has been dropped from MW3. Also, the report states that the game will lack dedicated servers. Whether or not all of this info is accurate is debatable, but Kotaku claims they've been correct with all of their previous reports
